St. Stanislaus Church provides a sense of hope and stability to the surrounding
neighborhood. Several years ago St. Stanislaus was recognized by
Mr. Darryl Porter, a representative of the Mayor’s office, as a ‘Beacon of Light’
in the northeast section of the city.
Throughout its history, St. Stanislaus Parish has served as a spiritual home to
thousands of people and as the heart of Rochester’s Polonia. Cherished traditions
rooted in the history of the parish are joined with new initiatives of ministry and
community life.
Our schedule of worship services includes Masses in English and Polish. We provide
religious education to young people, Polish language instruction for children to adults,
outreach to the infirmed and home bound, and assistance to local charities and causes
in Poland. Our parish societies engage in much good work and are involved many
community services.
St. Stanislaus is known throughout the area as a place of special beauty and peace.
Our annual Polish Arts Festival has grown into a recognized county wide event. The
beauty of the church buildings and the grounds, which include multiple gardens have
won several awards.
